Maurice (Moe) Landry October 19, 1942 - February 3, 2018 Maurice (Moe) Landry, 75, of South Milwaukee was lifted out of his wifes arms by God and taken Home on Friday February 3rd. Moe passed away peacefully at home with his wife Sherry by his side after a courageous three year battle with cancer. Moe is survived by his wife Sherry (nee Gullikson), his children Kristen (Scott) Landry Schleifer, Eric Landry, Jodi (Michael) Clemmer, and Gina (Nick) Palasz. Proud Pepe (Pa) of his eight grandchildren Ally, Alyssa, Brandon, Brittany, Dylan, Madison, Matt and Ty. Moe is further survived by six siblings, brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews and dear close friends. Moe was reunited in death with his parents, Jerry and Bea Landry, as well as his sister Connie Sturgil and his favorite four-legged pal Seven. Moe was a Veteran of the United States Air Force during the Vietnam war. He was owner and CEO of Key Enterprise. Moe had been an active member of the South Milwaukee Yacht Club where he enjoyed spending peaceful sunny days fishing off the back of his boat. Moe and Sherry enjoyed many adventures on the open water with their dear friends Fred and Rima, traveling to different ports throughout Wisconsin, Michigan, and Illinois. Fishing was his passion and Moe had many great stories of the Big One. Fishing trips with the guys on the ocean in Florida or with Shimo in Alaska were fond memories of his. Moe will be fondly remembered by his lifelong buddies otherwise known as the Stooges whom enjoyed monthly, usually friendly, poker games. Moe fought a courageous battle the last three years with cancer. All along the way he was cared for and nurtured until his last breath by his loving wife and best friend Sherry. Many Thank Yous to the doctors and nurses of the VA Hospital of Milwaukee who became like family to Moe and Sherry and treated them with true kindness. Moes final wishes were to be laid to eternal rest at The VA cemetery on his birthday, October 19. The family appreciates all of the kind words and prayers expressed over the last few months.
