Mary R. Leinonen

Leinonen, Mary R. (nee Gedvillas) of Franklin, WI. Passed away peacefully on July 25, 2019 at the age of 98. Preceded in death by her husband Paul, sons Fredrick and Gerald, Brothers John (June), Joe, Stanley (Irene), and Justin Gedvillas, Sisters Estelle (Arvid) Haukala and Mae (Charles) Ozanich. Survived by her son Craig (Janice) Leinonen, Daughter-in-law Shirley (the late Gerald) and sister-in-law Ruth (the late Joe) Gedvillas. Grandchildren Angela (Joe) Schuster, Todd (Connie) Arthur, Dan (Loria) Burdick, Scott (Becky) Sands and the late Toni Lee Babcock also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Mary was a member of the Franklin American Legion Post #192 Auxiliary, Franklin Walking Club and Home makers. A special thank you to Allay Hospice and Matthews of Oak Creek for all of their care. Visitation at Max Sass Funeral Home, Mission Hills Chapel, Tuesday, July 30, 5 PM to 7 PM. Funeral service at 7 PM. Burial at Wood National Cemetery on Wednesday, July 31, 11 AM.
