Ziino, Mary Danielle Born to eternal life on Sunday, September 4, 2016, at the age of 52, after a long battle with cancer. Daughter of John and Patricia (nee Hardimon) Ziino. Beloved wife of Joseph Gomez. Mother of Lacy, Mia, Ty, and NiElle Hoffmann. Grandmother to LiAna Schilling. Sister of John (Marie), Kathleen Kannenberg (James), Erica, and James (Kathleen) Ziino. She is further survived by step children Rebecca and Rachel Gomez and step grandchild Adaline; nephews Logan, Gideon, Michael, Greg, and Erik; nieces Lilianne, Genevieve, and Kristina; and relatives and friends. Visitation at Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral Home, Mission Hills Chapel, 8910 W. Drexel Avenue, Franklin, WI, on Thursday, September 8, from 4 to 8PM. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Martin of Tours Church, 7963 S. 116th Street, Franklin, WI, on Friday, September 9 at 9:30am, followed by a private burial. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family to help offset expenses would be appreciated. Graduated from Eisenhower High School, New Berlin, and MATC where she earned a degree in nursing. Worked at Children's Hospital and later for the State of Wisconsin Child Protective Services. Mary had a special love for children, animals, art and travelling. She had a particular fondness for sea turtles. Mary would always say, "I love you to the moon and back", and her last wish is that we live our lives as if she was still here. Max A.
