Mary Arlene Thompson
March 25, 1926 — June 9, 2021
(nee Godsell) Born to Eternal Life on June 9, 2021 at age 95. Recently widowed by her beloved husband, G. Donald, of 72 years (m. 11/6/48). Survived and loved by her three children, Joan, Jan and Jim (Kristi); three grandchildren, Jim (Danyele), Mike (Katie) and Erica (Todd Wilson); seven great-grandchildren, Cynthia, Taylor, Kaydence, Erin, Owen, Xander and Libby; sisters, Rose Wiza, Ione Koetterhagen and Janice Weitkunat, and many relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Mary Godsell, and siblings, Margaret Godsell, Florence Greil and Celestine Godsell. Retired City of Franklin Public Health Nurse (1988). Family and friends are welcome to gather at St. Martin of Tours Church (7963 S. 116th St., Franklin, WI) on Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 10-10:45 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Masks are no longer required in church but requested if you have not been vaccinated.
