Mary Ann Pittser

November 19, 1935 — September 24, 2022

Our beloved wife and mother, Mary Ann Pittser, passed away peacefully on September 24th, 2022. She was born Mary Ann Meade in 1935 to Lester Meade and Alice (Powless) Meade in Milwaukee. She graduated from South Division high school. She is predeceased by her siblings, Arlene Hornada, Shirley Collins, Lawrence “Bud” Meade, Margaret Fisher and Dorothy Winze.


In 1956 she married her high school sweetheart, Jack Pittser, and shared 66 years of loving marriage. Between 1957 and 1964 they had 3 children, Sherry (Allan) Olson, David (Tammy) Pittser and Andrew Pittser. She is a grandmother to Chris Olson, Adam (Lindsey), Nick Pittser, and Emily Pittser. She is great grandmother to Jayden Pittser and Kamden Pittser,


She is survived by her sister Carol Divan, and many nieces and nephews. She was a caring mother to everyone, and welcomed all into her home with open arms, humor, and love. Mary loved to travel and golf, and most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed.



A visitation will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (8500 W Cold Spring Rd, Greenfield, WI) on Friday, September 30, 2022 from 10:00- 11:15 AM with the funeral Mass to begin at 11:30 AM. Burial at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.


In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Susan G Komen Foundation or St. Jude’s Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
