Mary A. Funk

Mary Antoinette Funk (nee Schulze), died peacefully on December 15, 2020 at the age of 58. Daughter of the late Garford and Rose. Beloved wife of Joe. Loving mother of Joe (Jessi) and Tim. Proud grandmother of JJ, Kaitlyn, and Harvey. Dear sister of Jeannie (David) and Stanley (Rachel), and preceded in death by her sister Annie. Special “Second Mom” to many, but especially to the Stensland and Degen families. Further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, but more than anything she loved to make memories with her grandchildren. She was also an avid animal lover, rescuing countless injured or abandoned animals, and had a genuine heart for her beloved cats. Mary will be remembered fondly for her generosity, sense of humor, and fierce tenacity. Visitation Monday, December 21, 2020 from 10am until 12noon at the Max A Sass & Sons Funeral Home, 1515 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215. Funeral Service at 12Noon. Interment to follow at Forest Home Cemetery.
