Marvin’s last wish was to go to Heaven. On Friday, March 27, 2020, his wish was granted. He is preceded in death by his daughter Susan M., and sons Marvin J. and Jeffery A. He is survived by the Love of his life for 70 years, Mary Jane (nee Bielinski); daughters Mary (Fred) Koch Jahnke, Kathleen A. (Patrick) Cieslik, Carolyn J. Koch; sons Gregory A. (Jacqueline), David S. and Thomas G.; grandchildren Tanya D. (Marvin) Rubio, Angela R. Koch, Lynn A. (Ross) Goldberg, Margaret A. Koch, Rebecca A. (Steven) Bridge, Eric J. (Ashley) Jahnke, and Mark A. (Maria) Jahnke; 13 great-grandchildren, also other relatives, friends and neighbors. Marvin had Alzheimers and was in Hospice at home. His family wishes to thank Sonya, his wonderful, caring nurse, all the caring caregivers especially Nyann, and a very special thank you to daughter Carrie for the loving care for 4 years of her Dad and Mom. Marvin served his county in the US Army in Japan, volunteered for The American Red Cross for 10 years with 23 disasters in Disaster Services; Bella Vista, Arkansas Crime Watch and BV Police Department. He played the organ, loved music, fishing, photography, traveling, sports especially the Green Bay Packers, loved to read, do crosswords and sudoku and play sheepshead. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 10am at ST. ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1810 W. Bolivar, Milwaukee.
