Behnke Marvin A. Passed away Saturday, July 18, 2009. Age 95. Beloved Husband of Betty (nee Burnam) for 66 Years Father of Marva (Karl) Schlueter, Carol Mattson and Judy Behnke all of Milwaukee. Grandfather of John Schlueter, of Milwaukee, Eric Schlueter of Virginia and Cassandra Lach of California. Visitation at the funeral home Wednesday July 22, 10-11am. Funeral service 11 am.Burial at Arlington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 Marvin and his wife were the first franchisees of National Rent a Car in Milwaukee County. In 1950 they purchased property across the street from General Mitchell field, where they owned a motel and offered long term parking. The couple is also known for their worldly travels. Max A.
