survived by many dear relatives and friends.

Martha was born in Leroy Wisconsin. With an 8th grade education Martha left home to Milwaukee at the age of 17 to attend Beautician School. She was the past owner of The Beauty Craft Studio in 1941, located on Aster Street in Milwaukee. Then after marrying her first husband Casimer, moved to Lagrange and purchased Lagrange Farm and Home General Store in 1948 where they sold “soup to nuts and bolts”. The store was sold in 1956. After moving back to Milwaukee, in the 70’s, Martha found her true career as a Florist making arts crafts, and artificial flower arrangements and partnered with Joseph and Evelyn Repech at the Foam Craft Arts and Craft Store which later became F.C. Florist after introducing fresh flowers. The Craft store was located on Kinnickinnic Ave. then relocated to Delaware Avenue in Milwaukee.

After retiring Martha’s hands never stayed idle. She had many talents including weaving. She wove fabric and made many suits and other articles of clothing. She was a member of Wisconsin Hand Weavers Association since 1982. She also Loved

gardening. Martha loved growing flowers, fruits and vegetables. She was known for her homegrown horseradish, raspberry jams and peach pies which she made from her own peaches she grew and often gave as gifts or donated to the Christian

Women Bake Sale.

She also loved to travel especially with her daughters. Her favorite trip was traveling to Hawaii.

Martha stayed very social, even in her later years. She was the Vice President for the Christian Women Organization and a Member of the Senior Group at Blessed Sacrament Parish.

She loved to play Bingo. Sometimes three times a week. She would play 9 cards even at the age of 103. We often thought her Bingo was the key to her quick whit and great memory.

Even though Martha had many hobbies, she enjoyed listening to the Brewers while working on her circle hand loom. Last year she made over 400 Tassel Caps, sizes newborn to adult. She enjoyed donating them and giving them as gifts.

Martha was married for a total of 41 years to two wonderful men, Casimer (20 years) and Harry (21 years). Both preceded her in death. She often said, “I have had two great guys, there will never be a third”.

Her strong Catholic Faith, family and friends were most important in her life.

Martha loved life. When she was asked what her secret was to longevity she would say, “have a reason to get up and get dressed every morning” and “keep putting one foot in front of the other”.

Martha will truly be missed, let us remember her not with sorrow but with joy for she lived a life of love, wisdom, and gentleness, leaving a legacy that will continue to inspire and guide us. May she rest in peace.

The family would also like to thank the entire staff on 12S and 12T at St. Luke's Medical Center for their wonderful care their mother received for her 17 days stay at the hospital.
