Marilyn A. Grassel (nee Wendelberger) Born to eternal life and joined her beloved husband and dance partner Lee on October 26, 2021 at the age of 86. Proud mother of 5 girls, Susan (Tom) Meka, Janet (Gary) Jensen, Mary Jean Kelly, Ann (Glenn) Stockero and Christine (Joe) Sobiecki. Marilyn was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Further loved and survived by sisters-in-law, a brother in law, many dear nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents George and Marina Wendelberger, her brothers Jerry, John, George and Dick and a sister Annette Lutz. Visitation at Mother of Perpetual Help, 2322 S. 106th St. West Allis, WI. 53227. on Friday, October 29 from 3 PM to 4:45 PM with mass of Christian Burial at 5 PM. Private burial at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated in Marilyn's name to St. Michael's Alumni Association, 1445 N. 24th St. Milwaukee, WI. 53205. Marilyn was a woman of strong Catholic faith, she was a dedicated parishioner, a charter member of Mary Queen of Heaven and past President of Christian Women. Living life with a pep in her step, quick wit, she enjoyed lunch with friends and always ready for a glass or two of wine and a good laugh. "Miss you so much already, Thank you for the fun, laughs and love."
