Szymanski, Marianne (Nee Armenio-Proite) Of Franklin. Was peacefully called home to the Lord, by the Angels on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010 at the age of 71. Beloved wife of 44 years to James A. Szymanski. Best mom ever of Marianne (Garo) Hartounian, James (Cindy) and Joseph Szymanski. Fun loving Nonna of Maximillian, Mia Marianna, Emma and Matthew. Sister of Rosina (Carmelo) Spiccia of Milan, Italy, Anna Josephine (Joe) Lazzaro, Adeline (Anthony) Zingale, and Anna (Mark) Lemberger. Sister-in-law of Marcia Szymanski of Mishawaka, IN and Joanina Armenio of Brolo, Sicily. Also loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, Godchildren and many special friends. Marianne was preceded in death by her parents, Antonino and Maria Grazia Armenio and Charles and Rose Proite. Her sister Maria Armenio, brother Pietro Armenio and her niece Maria Spiccia. She was a graduate of Holy Angels Academy, Class of 1958, a member of The Twin Blessed Mothers and St. Sebastian Christian Women Society. Visitation at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 5400 W. Washington Blvd., Monday, January 3, 2011 11-1:45PM. Mass of Christian Burial 2PM. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
