Maria "Susie" De Jesus Diaz (Garcia) Passed away on April 9, 2021, age 74. Beloved mother of Roberto Diaz, Melissa Diaz and Patty Ortega. Proud grandma of Amanda (Chris) Herzog, Alex (Elizabeth Frey) Diaz, Madeline Gonzalez-Diaz and Eden Ortega. Great grandma of Jackson and Ella Herzog. Loving sister of Belia Mora, Dora Gonzales and Sylvia Mora. Preceded in death by her parents Emeterio Jr. and Margarita Betancourt Garcia and two sisters Naomi Ruano and Maria E. Martinez. Also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Maria retired in 2013 from the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development after 21 years of service. Special thanks to the CV-ICU Unit at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center for their dedicated care. Visitation on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at the MAX A SASS & SONS GREENRIDGE CHAPEL, Greenfield from 9am to 10am. Funeral Mass to follow at ST. MARY CATHOLIC FAITH COMMUNITY, 9520 W. Forest Home Ave. Hales Corners at 11am. (Masks are required) Interment to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
