Maria Nikonczuk

Maria Nikonczuk In loving memory of our dear mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Maria Nikonczuk, born on March 14, 1928 in Bavaria to Heinrich and Maria Weihert and departed on April 12, 2021 to walk back home to God. She is survived by her daughter, Monika Parks, son Richard, grandson Jason, brothers, sisters, relatives in Germany and many lifetime friends. Alexander her loving husband, proceeded her in death in 2007. Though she will be dearly missed, her essence and kind spirit remains with us. An independent woman before her time, she came to America on June 23rd, 1951 with her husband and baby son where she created a loving home and a wonderful life. She was a woman of grace, beauty, kindness, elegance, style and faith. The simplest pleasures brought great joy to Maria and she found happiness with her family, dressmaking, crocheting, gardening and preparing amazing German dishes. Every pansy flower, bird singing, German song playing will be a constant reminder of the joy Maria brought into our lives. A private Commemorative Celebration of Maria’s life was held. The family welcomes donations to the Susan G. Komen, American Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
