Margaret Catherine Burns

Burns, Margaret C. (Nee Neu) passed away January 24, 2007, at West Park Place, West Allis, at ninety years of age. Born in Rubicon, Wisconsin, to Louis and Mary Anna (nee Frank) Neu on September 17, 1916, she was married in 1938 to Eugene J. Burns (deceased). Her careers included catering supervisor for Ace Foods Company, retail sales at Gimbel''s Department Store and secretarial and bookkeeping work ar Boston Store, from which she retired after twenty-two years of work. She earned a certificate in Business from Prospect Hall. She is survived by her daughter, Colleen M. Burns Hensley, Anchorage, Alaska, and her son James P. Burns and wife Jean, Ketchican, Alaska. Grandchildren include: Colleen B. Burns, Arizona; Matthew Hensley and wife Tyneal, Tennessee; Sean Hensley, Florida; Valerie Burns, Washington; Melinda Burns, Washington. Step-grandchildren are Janice Hensley, Florida; Ronald Hensley, Jr., and wife Tena, Tennessee; and Edwin M. Hensley and wife Nancy, Florida. Great-grandchildren include: Ava Ashley and Christian Burns, Arizona. Step-great-grandchildren are Eric Hensley, and Cansis Thompson, Tennessee;and Boudicea Hensley, Florida. Beloved nieces and nephews, cousins and friends also survive her. There will be no service. Her cremains will be interred beside those of her husband Eugene J. Burns at Calvary Cemetery.
