Margaret Barbara Riojas

Riojas, Margaret B. (nee Duran) Joined her loving husband Richard in Heaven on June 1, 2016 at age 92. Beloved mother of Gabrielle (Bernardino) Martinez, Richard (Tip) Riojas and Delia (the late Michael) Sequenz. Cherished grandmother of Bernardino (Edith) Martinez Jr., the late Joseph Martinez, Rachel Martinez, Matthew Martinez, Vanessa (Tuan) Le, James Sequenz and Alexandra (Ryan) Gilhooly. Proud great grandma of Karime, Adan, Ana, Benjamin and Colton. She is further survived by her siblings Mary (the late Joaquin) Villanueva, Charles (the late Susan) Duran Jr. and Tilo (the late JoAnn) Duran. She is preceded in death by her sisters Patricia, Anita, Ruth and Amelia. Margaret was proud to be one of the first Hispanics to be born in the Milwaukee area in 1923. She volunteered at the United Community Center. In her free time she enjoyed singing, dancing and telling stories. Visitation will take place on Friday, June 10, 2016 at Mount Olivet Cemetery in the Chapel of Angels and Light from 10:30 until the time of service at 11:45 AM. Entombment to follow. Max A.
