Mihm, Margaret Ann August 11, 1947 to June 7, 2010 Beloved sister to Thomas (Barb) Mihm, Bob Mihm and Greg (Ellen) Mihm, loving aunt of Angela (Nick) Nigro, Jake (Amy) Mihm, Beth Mihm, David (Lisa) Mihm, and caring great-aunt to Hayden and Brady Nigro, George, Madeline, and Ella Mihm, and Bevin and Adria Mihm was peacefully escorted home to her savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, June 7, 2010. Margaret enjoyed the company of friends and family through visits, quilting circles, trips up north, and volunteer service. Her commitment to helping others fostered close and lasting relationships with many individuals far and near. As a long-standing choir member and soloist at Our Lady Queen of Peace and St. Martin of Tours parish, Margaret’s god-given gift of voice often gave joy to other parishioners. Margaret’s other contributions included committee work to help the parish thrive. An avid quilter, Margaret was constantly learning and her finished products were spectacular works of art, stitched with care and love. Margaret’s passion for travel and adventurous spirit took her throughout the world. A part of the Aurora Health Care community, Margaret contributed 38 years of dedication and excellence to the organization. Following her graduation from Alverno College, she began her career as a medical technician at St. Luke’s and eventually transitioned into network security for Aurora Health Care. She recently retired in 2007. Friends and family mourn the loss of a gentle soul, amiable companion, and caring individual. Margaret took the time to listen to others and help whenever possible.
