Marcelino Molla Jr.

June 20, 1945 — July 26, 2023

Marcelino Molla Jr., born on June 20, 1945, in Milwaukee, peacefully passed away at Aurora St. Lukes Medical Center on July 26, 2023. Marcelino, was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who touched the lives of many with his jovial spirit and kind heart.


Marcelino is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Pamela (nee Lewis), and his children, Diana (the late Donald) Hill, Victor (Tracy) Molla, the late Marcelino “Tony” Molla, and Josephine "Joby" (Daniel) Balli. He was a cherished brother to Angelita (the late Fredice “Fred”) Green, Roberto (Colleen) Molla, Maurisio “Richard” (Cleotilde “Connie”) Molla, Rosita “Rose” (Jose) Talavera, and Augustine (Joy) Molla. He was a loving brother-in-law to Cindi (Chris) Remshak and Sandi (Randy) Bieganski. Marcelino was preceded in death by his parents Marcelino Sr. and Celia (nee Moreno), his son Marcelino “Tony” Molla, his sister Mary Spiel, his son-in-law Donald Hill, and his brothers-in-law Donald Spiel and Fredice “Fred” Green.


Marcelino Jr. will be fondly remembered by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, primos, primas, and the mother of his children, Victoria Vega. He also leaves behind many friends, including those from the Villas at the Station, who regularly inquired about his health and offered their prayers.


In his professional life, Marcelino was a dedicated worker, spending several years as a chipper and grinder at Rexnord on Chase and Oklahoma. He later retired from the maintenance department at Aurora St. Luke's, where he often spoke of his pride in installing the 500 glove boxes throughout the hospital. His strong work ethic and commitment to his job were admired by all who knew him.


Marcelino's passions were simple yet deeply meaningful. He was an avid fisherman who loved spending his summers at Little Muskego, his favorite fishing spot. His favorite plaque humorously boasted, “Fish tremble when they hear my name.” Yet, his greatest joy was derived from the time he spent with his family. He was known for his infectious laughter and knack for telling jokes, always being the life of any family gathering.


Marcelino Molla Jr. lived a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to his family and work. His memory will be cherished by all those who were fortunate enough to know him. He leaves behind a legacy of joy and love that will continue to inspire his loved ones for generations to come.


Thank you to all the wonderful and caring and compassionate doctors and nursing staff at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center throughout all of Marcelino's admissions . A special thanks to Marcelino's physical therapist Derek C. and RN Alli W. and the many OT and Speech therapist from the Aurora at home care program. Without your help and care, We wouldn't have been blessed with the extra 3 and a half years we had left with him.


Visitation will be held at 4747 S. 60th St. -Greenridge location on Tuesday August 1st from 4:00 PM until the time of service at 7:00 PM


Burial as well as a graveside service will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery - 3801 W Morgan Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53221, Wednesday August 2nd at 11:00 AM
