Jankowski, Mae C. (Nee Grimm) Born May 11, 1927 in Milwaukee, the twelfth and last child of Phillip Joseph and Annie Mary (nee Hallaska) Grimm. Preceded in death by all her brothers and sisters and her beloved husband Harold J. and precious son James. Beloved Mother of Elyn (Timothy) Rollins of Ontario Canada, grandmother of Carrie and Benjamin Rasper of Wisconsin. Survived by many nieces, nephews and friends; very special thanks to dear friends Janina and Ed Lesinski and Patti Wendland and wonderful, beloved nieces Joyce Nordman and Nancy DeSandre, all of whom have cared for and helped Mae over the years, in addition to being the recipients of her love. Mae was a longtime employee of The Milwaukee Journal in the '40s and '50s and then worked many years in the lab at St. Francis Hospital. Mae wore out her life in giving to and serving others until the ravages of time and health overtook her abilities to give. Many thanks to the wonderful, caring staff of Clement Manor where she lived her last 2 1/2 years. A visitation will be held at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel, Greenfield, WI on Monday October 13, 2014 from 4-7 PM with a 6:30 PM prayer service. Donations to Clement Manor will be gratefully accepted. Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel 4747 S. 60th Street 414-282-4050
