Johnston, Mabel J. "Mae" (nee Andersen) Born April 30, 1928. After a long journey with Alzheimer's, our beautiful Mother, Mae, received her reward on Easter morning 2015, and has met her beloved savior Jesus! There to welcome her with a warm embrace on Heaven's "Eagles Ballroom" dance floor, was her loving husband of 57 years, Arnie. Left behind to cherish her memory and honor her amazing strength are her daughters, Deborah (Garry) Kosut, Kathleen Johnston, Cynthia (Robert) Sundholm and Jacqueline (Bill) Mongan. She will be fondly and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Jessica (Tim) Aebly, Heather (Dan) Kellerman, David (Meg) Gutbrod, Scott Redmond, Emily, Allison and Madeline Mongan. Mae's wonderful memory will be shared in stories to her great- grandchildren, Leighton Kellerman, Brayden Gutbrod and Baby boy Gutbrod arriving in June! She will be dearly missed by her sisters, Sylvia Louderback and Suzanne Bartz. Also survived by other relatives and friends and her many family members in Norway. Visitation at King of Glory Lutheran Church, 4330 S. 84th St. Saturday, April 11, 9-10:30 am. Funeral Service at 10:30 am. Interment at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated in Mae's honor to King of Glory Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer's Association. Mae was a long time Executive Secretary at Harnischfeger Corp. She was a member of King of Glory Church and Sons of Norway. Thank you to her many caregivers over the past years for your loving kindness.
