We come together today to celebrate the life of Lynn Zuehlke, a beacon of love and creativity who left us peacefully on August 1, 2024, at the age of 69. Born on November 21, 1954, in Milwaukee, Lynn's journey began in the very place she would later say her goodbyes, surrounded by the city and the people she cherished deeply.
Lynn's early years in Milwaukee shaped her into the remarkable woman she would become, characterized by her loving nature, her sharp wit, and her boundless creativity.
After graduating and mastering the art of beauty as a cosmetologist, she channeled her precision and keen eye for detail into a fulfilling career as a components lab technician. Throughout her career, Lynn was known for her dedication and her ability to bring joy and laughter into the workplace.
Lynn's life was a tapestry woven with the love of her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Carol and (Bob)Hauser, as well as her father Donald Zuehlke, and her cherished son, Jason Biddle. Her legacy of love lives on through her children, Robert, Keenan and his wife Claire, Jolene and her partner Bryant, and Jenna and her partner Stevie. Lynn was a dear sister to Darlene and her husband Dave, and Kurt and his wife Justine. Her role as a grandmother was one she reveled in, adoring each of her 15 grandchildren with a heart full of love and pride.
Beyond her family, Lynn's passion for native crafts and beading brought a special kind of beauty into the world. Her hands were rarely still, as she found joy in creating intricate pieces that reflected native heritage and her love into each project. She spent most of her time with friends at SEOTS making native crafts and learning Oneida language. Friends and family often found themselves mesmerized by her ability to transform simple materials into stunning works of art.
Lynn's presence at gatherings was a guarantee of good times and cherished memories. Her sense of humor was a gift that she generously shared. Those who knew Lynn will remember her for the creative spirit that was unmistakably hers.
Today, we bid farewell to a woman who was not only the heart of her family but a shining light in her community. Lynn Zuehlke's life was a testament to the power of love, the joy of creativity, and the enduring strength of family bonds. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide us, reminding us to cherish the time we have with our loved ones and to live life with laughter and a creative spark. As we reflect on Lynn's life, we find comfort in the knowledge that her spirit will forever be woven into the lives of those she touched. Her laughter will echo in the stories retold by her children and grandchildren, her art will continue to be admired, and her love will remain as a guiding force for all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Lynn Zuehlke's journey on this earth may have come to a close, but the impact of her life will be felt for generations to come. As we say goodbye, we do so with hearts full of gratitude for the time we had with her and the lessons she taught us about love, family, and the beauty that can be created with our own two hands.
