Louis E. Brown

May 16, 1937 — October 12, 2024

Louis E. Brown

Entered into Eternal Life on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Moore). Father of Jennifer and Louis Jr. (Josie). Grandfather of Alexandria, Taylor, Mia (Nick Hubbard), Nick, Jeremy, and Chad. Great-grandfather of Daniel, Mia Monet, Payton, Gregory, Cadence, Kaysten, Hartlen, and Drake. Brother of Doug. Uncle of Carol, Butch, Tim (Linda), Jill (Mike), Peggy (the late Chuck), Dave (Candy), Cathy, Jeff, Becky, and DJ. Special friend to Howard and Cindy. Preceded in death by his parents Gladys and Louis Brown Sr., siblings Harold, Lois, Clarice, Richard, Renata, Tom, Jim, and Bob, and niece Cindy.

Lou loved to work with his hands and put his talent to use as a senior maintenance mechanic at Froedtert Hospital for 17 years. He was also the Chief Engineer at the Sheraton Milwaukee North and assistant chief at the Sheraton in Nashville, TN.

Lou loved the Green Bay Packers and once paid $400 for a Brett Favre jersey. He often wondered "Why?" Lou enjoyed watching baseball, basketball, drag racing, and golf. He enjoyed playing baseball with Southside Church of Christ until he was 75 years old!

Lou also loved to vacation with his wife, Mary, and looked forward to each new adventure, especially desserts on a buffet.

Mostly, Lou loved God and the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

Thank you to the staff at the VA, Dr. Blomberg and Dr. Nikolaff. Special thanks to the staff at Castle Senior Living and Hospice Team.
