Lorraine D. Frederick

Lorraine D. Frederick,89, of Milwaukee passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on March 31, 2025. She was born on May 6, 1935 in Detroit to Walter and Helen (nee Kubas) Cukrowski.

Lori, as she was known by many relatives and friends, was a nurses aide at Harper Hospital in Detroit and retired from Saint Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee after 20 years there. She was passionate, loving and spiritual in her care of her patients.

Besides her love of family, her interests included reading, painting, solving puzzles and collecting angels, bells and other special knick-knacks of which she had quite a collection.

Survivors include children Deborah (Jeff) Nebel, Norman (Brenda) Schultz, Denise (Ted) Polczynski, and Kathryn (Dale) Socher; siblings Dr. Walter (Donna) Cukrowski, Kathleen Moshirnia and Stanley Cukrowski; nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren, step children, nieces, nephews and other cherished relations. She was preceded in death by her husband Gary “Skip” Frederick and children Walter Schultz and Mark Schultz.

Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral Home is caring for her cremation. A memorial service is being planned for a future date.
