Lorraine F. Greene

Lorraine F. Greene Age 92 of Greendale. Passed away on August 2, 2016. Beloved mother of Gary (Chris) Greene and loving grandmother of Tyler (Libby) and Nathaniel (Shainah) Greene. She was the devoted daughter of the lae John and Elsie Schmid. She was married to the late Thomas Greene for 29 years. Lorraine was a 1941 graduate of Milwaukee Girl's Tech High School She worked for the Franklin School System for over 30 years. She retired and became a prolific wildlife artist and sold many of her paintings on old saws and mink boards. As a young woman, she was an excellent athlete, and became an avid sports fan, particularly with the Green Bay Packers. She loved exercise and into her late 80's, she walked several hours a day. Fishing into her 90's, she admired nature and the great outdoors. She had one hell of a sense of humor. Most of all, she cherished her two grandsons Ty and Nate (Puddy) and her son Gary. The family would like to particularly thank Lorraine's great friend Jan Mours for all that she did to help during her last years. A visitation will be held at the MAX A. SASS & SONS MISSION HILLS CHAPEL - Franklin, WI on Tuesday August 9, 2016 from 9 - 10 AM with a brief reading at 10 AM. Private interment Highland Memorial Park.
