Novak, Lois L. (Nee Bourdo) God Called Lois Home on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the age of 71. She died peacefully in her bed. Beloved wife of Harry for 52 years. Mother of Corina (Doreen) Novak and Christine (David) Strandberg. Further survived by grandchildren Myles and Gustave Strandberg, Amy, Angela and Nicole: Great Grandmother of Justin, Cassie, Cyndi, Theo, Dylan and Evelyn. She leaves an extended family of brothers and sisters and in-law; the late Fred (Dorathea), Patricia (Chuck Jagunt), the late Leon (Gerri), the late owen (Doris), Jane (Bill Holick), the late Neal (the late Tenie), Alvin, the late Karen (the late Joe Molus), Mark (Bonnie), Dean (the late Gail), and the late David (Robin). The late Richard Novak(the late Dorie), the late Sophie (the late Harold Lago), the late Susie (the late Eugene Czubakowski), Arlene (the late Ronand Ahnert), Rose Schafer, Donald (Karen), Jerry (the late Shirley) Julia ( Roger Holtz) and Mary (the late Freddie Machajewski) She will be fondly remembered by nieces, nephews and many friends. Lois grew up in Big Bend, Wisconsin. She was tenth of fourteen children who live on their family farm. She graduated from Muskego High School in 1963 after a memorable class trip to Washington DC and New York. She married Harry in 1964 then moved to Muskego where she remained a resident until her passing. Lois worked as a manager in food service for the Muskego-Norway School district for 24 years receiving a multitude of awards and recognitions. She organized and created the 1st food service union in her district; eventually becoming union president. She deeply loved her children and grandchildren, making every get together and holiday (especially Christmas) special. She was a devout Catholic. Her faith was very important to her and she participated in her church bible study group to continue educating herself on the Catholic religion and deepen her faith. Visitation at Max Sass Funeral Home, Westwood Chapel on Friday, April 21, 4 to 7pm with a Vigil service and Rosary Service at 7pm and a brief visitation at St Leonards Church, W173 S7743 Westwood Dr. Muskego on Saturday April 22, 1Pm - 1:45 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at 2pm.
