Lois Ann Gawronski

Gawronski, Lois Ann (Nee Glavan) Entered into God's loving care on August 25, 2007, at the age of 75 years,surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Cherished wife and companion for 53 years of Ronald. Loving mother of Jim (MaryBeth), Jane Ingles (Brian), John (Melanie). Special Nana/Nanny of Daniel, Mark, Megan, Scott and Lauren.Beloved sister of Marilyn (Joseph Gumina), Nancy (Robert Gunderson), Susan (Nicholas Logarakis). Sister in law of Tim (Marge) and Diane Gawronski. Further survived by many nephews, nieces and friends. Lois was also a special pet grandma to Abby, Shelby, Beemer, Holly, and Misty. Lois had a love of life and embraced each day with her beautiful smile and wonderful sense of humor. Long time member of Tuckaway County Club, Lois enjoyed golf, but enjoyed more after her golf time with her gal pals. Former resident of Greendale, she also was an avid bridge player, bowler and shopper. Winter resident of Palm Desert, California. Lois and Ron loved the mountains, golfing, casino and many social hours with dear friends. Lois touched the lives of so many people. Her generosity was incomparable and her kindness infectious. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her. Special thanks to Dr. Shaekhar Dagam, not only for his surgical skills, but for his tender compassionate care of our mom. Also to Lois' guardian angels at Heartland Home Hospice; Liz, Kim, Ursula, Jennifer, Amy and Maria. Your care and compassion was greatly appreciated. Thank you Nana/Nanny for being our #1 fan. We were truly gifted to have you in our lives - Love, Lauren, Megan, Scott, Mark and Dan. Funeral Mass Tuesday, August 28, 2007, 3 PM at ST. MARY CATHOLIC FAITH COMMUNITY, 9520 W. Forest Home Ave. Hales Corners. Visitation Tuesday 11 AM to 3 PM at the church. A celebration of Lois's life will be held immediately following the mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation.
