DeBack, Levens P. II Born to eternal life on October 10, 2017 at age 85. Lovingly survived by his wife Vivien (Pledl) DeBack. Married a wonderful 62 years! Beloved father of Mark (Mary Beth) DeBack, Clair (Jim) Bloedel, Levens III "Skip" (Viki) DeBack and Robert DeBack. Proud grandpa of Levens IV "Evan" DeBack, Taylor Schnitzler, Kallen DeBack, James Bloedel, John Bloedel, Lauren DeBack and Grant DeBack. Great Grandpa of Kamryn Schnitzler, Anthony "A.J." Schnitzler and Oliver Schnitzler. Dear brother of Marion Borchardt. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. He is preceded in death by his siblings Francis Schmidt, Mildred Schmidt and Jane Jorgensen. Lev retired from Franklin Middle School after 40 years of teaching science. Patriarch of a large and loving family, he was a lifelong mentor and community activist. Visitation will be held at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church (7963 S. 116th St., Franklin, WI) on Friday, October 13, 2017 from 2:00-3:45 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 4 PM.
