Leslie S. Rieck, better known as Les, Lester, the Dog, Uncle Warm Beer; call him whatever you want, just don't call him late for dinner, finally had enough on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at age 69. With the days of bowling 300 games and shooting bullseye hat tricks behind him, he went to be “the Boss” of a better place. We can't say with certainty where that place is, because he always swore that he was going to live forever because "God doesn’t want me and the Devil's afraid I'll take his job". One thing we are certain of is that he’ll have the TV on, watching Brewers baseball, Packers football, and any game show or western that’s showing, while enjoying an ice cold PBR, a habit he started decades before it was hip. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Marian; ex-wife, Pat; and brother Brian. He was a world class farter, oops father to Scott Rieck and Sheila Loman (ex-husband Nate Loman). He was a quick-witted, goofy grandpa to Brianna "Lefty" (as he liked to call her) Loman and Ethan Loman. He was the "younger" brother to Linda Rieck, Linda Rieck (yep there are two - the second one was his late brother's wife), Carey (Hank) Thiede, Wendy (Randy) Kay, Gary Rieck, and Sherill Rieck. He further leaves behind many other relatives and lifelong friends that were just like family to him. Please join us in remembering him at Max Sass & Sons on 60th & Layton on April 3, 2021 from 1-4pm, reception to follow. A frugal man who frequently said, "if it's free, it's for me" wouldn't want you to spend your money on flowers, so instead please consider a donation to the charity of your choice.
