Luecht Leroy Found peace surrounded by his loving family Sunday August 7, 2011. Age 86. Beloved husband of Shirley for 61 years. Devoted father of Roy (Kris) Luecht, Ric (Vickie) Luecht, Carol (Edgar) Ocasio, Kathy (Dave) Elich and Linda (Mike) Sklander. Loving grandpa of Jessica (Mike), Kimberly, Jason, Caleb, Eric (DanDan), Kelly, Desiree, Katrina, Sam, Joe, Mila, Michael and Matt. Cherished friend of Dave, Justine, Chelsea (Bryan) and Chad Brown. Further survived by his faithful dog Belle, many other family, friends and caregivers, who will miss him dearly. Visitation at the funeral home Wednesday, August 10, 4-7pm. Funeral service 7pm. Burial at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove, Thursday at 11 am. Please meet at the cemetery. Memorials appreciated to the Milwaukee Urban Gardens or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Leroy was an avid gardener who always had an extra place at his table. He was a loyal employee of GE Medical for 41 years and proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy during WWII in the South Pacific. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr Divgi, Katie (PA), Dr. Christianson, Dr. Borkovec as well as the staff at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic, St. Lukes Medical Center and Select Specialty Hospital for all their kind and loving care.
