Leonard B. "Swede" Switalski

"Swede" Entered God's loving arms on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Ruth. Cherished father of Michael (Karen) Switalski, Nancy Ann (Mark) Piotrowski and Randall (Sherry) Switalski. Loving grandfather of Michael (Rita), James (Janis), Mark (Sarah), Adam (Kayla) and Beth (Will). Further survived by 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, other relatives and friends. Swede was a WWII veteran of the US Army and retired from Schlitz Brewery. Special thanks to Dr. Mandich, Aurora Hospice and Kathy and Joyce for all their care. Visitation at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 3100 W. Parnell St., on Wednesday, August 9 from 10 - 10:45 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Entombment at St. Adalbert Cemetery. You will always be loved, remembered and missed.
