Ziulkowski, Leo W. Born to Eternal Life November 18, 2016 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Leona Ziulkowski. Loving dad of Richard Ziulkowski and Cindy (Clay) Bodoh. Devoted grandpa of Joe, Dan and Nicole Bodoh. Further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Leo was born in Green Valley Wisconsin. He served bravely as a rifleman in the 28th Infantry Division. Leo landed in France on D-Day +28, marched in the parade celebrating the liberation of Paris and was wounded in the Hurtgen Forest receiving a Purple Heart. He also earned the Combat Infantryman's Badge and three battle stars for the Northern France, Rhineland and Central Europe Campaigns. In addition to England and France, Leo also traveled through Luxembourg, Belgium and finally Germany. After the war he bought a farm in Krakow Wisconsin. He later moved to Milwaukee and worked as a Electrical Wireman until he retired. A visitation will be held at St. John Paul - St. Alexander Church (1568 W. Holt Ave., Milwaukee, WI) on Thursday December 1, 2016 from 9-10:45 AM. with the Funeral Mass to begin at 11AM. Entombment with Military Honors at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
