Born into Eternal Life on February 13, 2009 at the age of 79. Loving husband of Greta (nee Hallberg) for 55 years. Loving father of Leo III, Cathy (Dave) Safarik, Michelle, and Patti (Dave) Gorichanaz. Proud grandpa of Dan, Kim, and Andy. Baby brother of the late Jimmy (the late Tessie) and Lorraine (the late Ted) Sowinski. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many, many friends. Visitation will be held at ST. CLARE Catholic Church (7616 Fritz St. Wind Lake, WI) Wednesday February 18 4-7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial 7 PM. Private interment. The family would like to thank the staff of Waukesha Memorial Hospital, the Greenwald Center, and Oncology Alliance, especially Dr. Frederico Sanchez for their care of Leo during his illness. Memorials to the American Cancer Society are appreciated.
