Leo G. Kmiec

Leo Gregory Kmiec April 8, 1942 - July 25, 2021 Leo G. Kmiec, Navy Veteran, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at the Zablocki VA Medical Center July 25, 2021. Beloved Husband of Mary Ann, together for 51 years. Loving Father of Angela (Ken) Callaway, Theresa (Steve) Kmiec, and Christina (Rob) Seefeldt and Grandfather of Olivia and Kenny Callaway. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Leo grew up on a farm here in Wisconsin and served in the Navy on the USS Grand Canyon from 1966 to 1970. He met and married Mary Ann, a New York gal, and returned to Wisconsin to raise their family. He worked at several prominent Milwaukee companies as a manufacturing engineer and supervisor. He enjoyed traveling and reuniting with Navy buddies, gardening, “playing” on the computer, and tinkering around the house. Memorial service is planned for Monday, August 9th at St. James Catholic Church, 830 Veteran Way, Mukwonago. Visitation 9am - 11 am, Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am and luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The Fisher House or a charity of your choice.
