Benke, Lavern D. "Vern" Born to Eternal Life on November 12, 2016. Age 88. Survived by his sons Dennis (Terry) and James and daughter Laurie Mrstik. Grandfather of 12 and great-grandfather of many. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Memorial Gathering at Jackson Park Lutheran Church (4535 W. Oklahoma Ave., Milwaukee) on Wed, November 30 starting at 10AM until time of Memorial Service at 11AM. Burial at Pinelawn Memorial Park at 12PM, meet at cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the family.
