Died at age 71 due to complications from a blood clot in an already damaged heart.
Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, he graduated from UW-Milwaukee where he studied political science, philosophy, and military history.
He met his wife Sandra in Milwaukee at the bookstore where she worked, then followed her to Madison WI when she went to manage a store at Westgate Mall. They stayed in Madison for 36 years before returning to the Milwaukee area to be closer to his family.
He worked at various print shops in Milwaukee, Verona, and in Madison. Eventually he retired from the Wisconsin DOT in print procurement, where he made sure that state maps and traffic ticket books were correctly printed, among other items. He loved science, space exploration, strategy games, and was hoping to protest at both the DNC and RNC conventions in Milwaukee.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Maney Taylor, his mother Rosa Ihle Taylor, and his brother Clayton Taylor.
He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
There will be a memorial for him at the Clare Meadows community room, 7700 S 51st St, Franklin WI, on November nineteenth from noon to 5pm.
