L. William "Bill" Marsh

Passed away at his home in Greendale surrounded by his loving family on Monday, October 23, 2017, age 81. Beloved husband of Avis (nee Mertes). Loving father of Christyl and Darcie. Brother of Lauren (Lois) Marsh, Lindy (Malcolm) Anderson and the late Jack (Sandra) Marsh. Further survived by other relatives and friends. A memorial gathering of Bills life will be held at Max A. Sass Funeral Home, Mission Hills Chapel on Monday October 30, 2017 from 3:30 pm until 5pm with a Memorial celebration service at 5 PM. Continued celebration for family and friends to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated in his name to any of the following organizations: the ALS Association (Wisconsin Chapter), Faith Presbyterian Church or Heartland Hospice Services of Wisconsin. He was born to Harold and Isabela Marsh. Bill was a lifelong athlete, playing hockey in school and for the Milwaukee Admirals. Bill graduated with his business degree from Marquette University, worked as a CPA, then as a CFO for various companies and eventually started his own turnaround management company, Franklin Ross Ltd. Bill will be remembered as a thoughtful, caring husband, brother, father, mentor and friend to many, as well a giving member of his church and community.
