Kim Marie Stoeberl was born February 9, 1969 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Edward and Sharon (Eickhoff) Hart. She was baptized at Unity Lutheran Church and confirmed at Cross of Christ. She graduated from Cudahy High School in 1987 and graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering. She went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Human Resources at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.

Kim is survived by her loving husband Mark Stoeberl, children: Nicholas (Jennifer) Quartemont, Benjamin (Rachel) Quartemont, Alex Stoeberl and Christian Stoeberl and grandson, Owen. She is also survived by her parents Ed and Sharon Hart and sisters, Teri Hart and Tracy Hart.

Kim worked in various human resource department roles, including more than 18 years at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Her most recent employment was with MEPS (Military Entrance Processing Station). She enjoyed onboarding new recruits and being a mother figure to these young patriots, loving on them with her sweet nature.

Over the years, Kim volunteered at the Humane Society and other shelters due to her love for all animals, especially dogs. There was rarely a time, a dog (or three) was not in her life. These were rescue and shelter adoptions. Kim wanted to give love and a forever home to those that were neglected. Her husband often joked that the animals were higher on the ranking than him. This past year she volunteered once again by walking dogs at Fluffy Dog Rescue.

Kim will be remembered for her sparkling and bouncy personality. We thank God for the many blessings He bestowed upon Kim during her earthly life. We rejoice and praise God that Kim is now enjoying the greatest blessing of all – enteral life with her Savior Jesus Christ.

Given Kim’s love and passion for animals, in lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Wisconsin Humane Society.
