Kimberly Sue Galaska, affectionately known as Kim to her loved ones, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025, at the age of 57. Born on October 20, 1967, in Milwaukee, Kim's life was marked by her adventurous spirit, intelligence, and a wonderful sense of humor that brought joy and laughter to all who knew her.
Kim grew up in a loving family and was the cherished daughter of Pat, and the late Bob Galaska. She shared an unbreakable bond with her siblings: Pam (Bob) Arnhold, Brian (Meg) Galaska, Nadine (Don) Teichen, and Vicki (Rob) Batura. Kim's life was further enriched by her adoring nieces and nephews: Laura (Kriston), Ben (Amanda), Stephanie (Brian), Jill (Levi), Nick (Molly), Alyssa (Will), Samantha (Jack), Cassie (Marcus), the late Jake, Jessica, Alex (Laura), Harley, Rebecca (Dylan), and Dakota, as well as her treasured great-nieces and nephews: Elaina, Katy, Mia, Quintin, Gianna, Hayden, Wyatt, Jax, Ava, Sadie, Connor, Rory, and Dante. She also held a special place in her heart for her aunts and uncles, Kathy (Mark) and Joyce (Earl), and her special friends, Roxie, Rev. Steve, and Carol.
A proud graduate of Hamilton High School in 1989. She devoted 36 years of service to Eisenhower Center Inc., where her contributions were invaluable and her presence irreplaceable. Kim's colleagues, not only respected her for her work ethic, but also cherished her for the warmth and camaraderie she brought to the workplace.
She treasured the sister trips to Florida. Her love for horses was more than a hobby—it was a reflection of her free spirit and her appreciation for the beauty and grace of these majestic animals. Kim's artistic talent was evident in her creations which were sent to the whole family.
Family gatherings were always a highlight for Kim, where she could be found in the midst of laughter and sharing stories.
As we remember Kim, we are reminded of the light she brought into our lives. Her laughter will echo in the hearts of those who loved her, and her adventurous tales will continue to be told with fondness. Kim's impact on the world was as profound as the love she shared so freely, and her memory will be cherished forever.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her. Her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us, and her memory will be a treasure we hold dear for all our days.
Kim is preceded in death by her father Robert and nephew Jacob.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Eisenhower Center Inc. and Staple’s Adult Family Home for their love, care, and support over the years.
