Kenneth "Ken" Patrick Krueger

While surrounded by family on the evening of November 20th, Our Lord Jesus Christ entered Zilber Hospice and called Ken to his loving arms to find his peace with Him, along with God the Father, and The Holy Spirit. In life, Ken was a loving husband of over 60 years to Patricia (née Rewinski), devoted father to Scott (Lori) and David (Danielle), and a proud Papa to Jake and Zack. Ken is also survived by his sister Nancy Sommers, his sister-in-law Nancy Beix, and dear friends Ken and Karen Smars. Ken is further survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and good friends. Ken was employed by the City of Milwaukee for 32 years as an Operations Manager, and was instrumental in moving the Data Processing Department out of the basement of Milwaukee City Hall, especially relocating all of the office and computer equipment to their new location. Ken was a long-time member of St. Roman Parish, where he ushered for many years. He was also on the St. Roman Festival Committee, and the buildings and grounds committee. After retiring from the City of Milwaukee in 1998, Ken continued to enjoy learning about new technology, auto racing with his sons, and model trains; Ken belonged to the Racine Lionel Railroad Club of Southeastern Wisconsin until his passing.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30th, from 9:00am to 11:45am at St. Roman Parish, 1710 W. Bolivar Avenue Milwaukee, WI 53221. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00pm. A private burial will be followed by a public luncheon with friends and family. The family would like to thank the kind and caring ICU staff at Aurora St. Luke’s Hospital, Zilber Hospice, and Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the St. Roman Endowment, or the charity of your choice, in memory of Ken.
