Kenneth John Battani

Battani, Kenneth J. Went to be with the Lord on Friday May 3, 2013 at the age of 81. He is survived by Judy (nee Hough) his devoted wife of 56 years. Cherished father of Jeffery (Karen), David (Ginger) and Diane (David) Dembinski. Ken was the proud Papa of Sarah, Emily (David), Jake, Joshua (Corinne), Jordan, Katie, Kara, D.J., Samuel, Kimberly and proud great Papa of Owen. Dear brother of Barbra Battani. Further survived by other relatives and many friends. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday May 9, 2013 at 12 pm at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (S. 29th and W. Parnell). Visitation Thursday 9:30-11:30 am with a eulogy service at 11:30 am. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Ken proudly served his country as a 1st lieutenant in the Marine Corps, he was a high school teacher and coach, was an executive at Allen-Bradley/Rockwell for many years and completed his working career doing executive search work. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to camp, fish and hunt. He was a wonderful man who took great pride and joy in his family and will be deeply missed.
