Keith C. Smith Sr.

Keith C. Smith Sr. passed away peacefully in his sleep with his wife by his side on Thursday April 15, 2021 at the age of 69. He is survived by his loving wife, Diane (nee Gnas), who referred to him as “My life, my love”. Loving father to Keith Jr. (Angie) of Peshtigo, Adam (Marie) of Wind Lake and was preceded in death by daughter Amber, his "Princess". Dear son of the late Margery (nee Barber) and John C. Smith. Brother to Jerry, the late Larry (Susie), Valerie, Claire (Dan), and the late Kevin (Diane Jr.). Further survived by 7 step grandchildren, 4 great step grandchildren, and his little buddy Chewy. Keith proudly served his country in the Vietnam War ‘69-‘70 with the 4th Infantry Combat Engineers. He worked for G.E. Medical Systems for 38 years, where he passionately represented the members of Local Lodge 1916. He then went on to become Assistant Directing Business Representative for District 10 of the IAMAW. Keith loved to spend his spare time fishing and hunting. His family would like to thank the VA Spinal Cord Unit and DaVita Dialysis on Loomis Road for all the outstanding care over the years. And AseraCare Home Hospice for their compassionate care during his final days.
