Kathryn Rose Vanweelden

Kathryn Rose VanWeelden, four year old daughter of Mark R. and Jamie R. (nee Findling) Van Weelden of Waukesha, WI, died unexpectedly Friday, August 12, 2011. Kathryn loved dressing up, the park, the playground, playing outside, swimming and helping with anything, including cleaning and doing the dishes. Her favorite baseball player and buddy was Prince Fielder. She had a special blanket with one side Green Bay Packers and the other the Pittsburgh Steelers and her favorite NASCAR driver was Jeff Gordon. Surviving in addition to her parents are: a sister, Nicole R. (fianc Anthony O'Hara) and their son Michael Anthony; her future stepmom Valerie Wise and her son A.J.; grandparents, Donna Giering, Raymond Findling Jr., Richard (Christine) VanWeelden Jr., and Diane Stillman; greatgrandparents, William Emph Jr. and Raymond and Barbara Findling; greatgrandmother, Florence Stillman; uncles, Raymond Findling III, Bryan Findling (Kristin Schwantes), Richard (Anna) Stauber, Christopher Stauber and Timothy VanWeelden; aunts, Vickie Lynn (Joe) Valenti and Ashley Stauber; first cousins, Cody R. Findling and Eddie and Emma Tyloch; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and loved ones. Waiting for her in heaven are her: grandfather Glen R. "Grumpyman" Giering; great grandparents, Kathryn Marlene Emph and Robert and Caroline Giering; great grandparents, Dick and Rose Mary VanWeelden; and her aunt Julie Tyloch. A memorial service will be held at Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral Home 1515 W. Oklahoma Ave. Milwaukee, WI on Friday August 26th. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Memorial service at 4 p.m. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Ronald McDonald Charities or the Children's Hospitals in Pittsburgh or Milwaukee.
