Rooney, Kathryn D. Born to Eternal Life January 30, 2007 at the age of 63 years. Loving and caring mother of Linda (Allan) Hartung and Sheila Rooney. Dearest sister of Marilyn (Jerry) Fischer and Colleen (John) Hagen. Granny of Jessica and Nicholas Hartung. Mae Mae of Tatiana Barba. Niece of Dolores (Don) Geske. Further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Harold (Margaret) Rooney and her brothers Francis, Michael and Patrick. The family extends a special thank you to Day Care Services for Children and West Side Academy I and II for enabling Kathy to complete her mission by teaching and encouraging children. Visitation Friday February 2, at ST. RITA CHURCH 2318 S. 61st Street from 9:30 - 10:45 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 AM. Interment Holy Trinity Cemetery. Memorials would be appreciated. ''Kathy will be deeply missed but will continue to live in our hearts forever.''
