Kathryn D. Kaiser, affectionately known as Kathy, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2024, at the age of 64. Born on June 22, 1960, on the Southside of Milwaukee, WI, Kathy lived a life marked by a legacy of love and generosity.
Kathy was devoted to her husband, Edward Kaiser, whom she lovingly called "her Eddie." They enjoyed 46 years together, including 40 years of marriage. Kathy’s memory will be forever cherished by Edward and their beloved daughters, Nicole (Joe) Tillmann and Melissa (Daniel) Gutierrez, her grandsons, Thurston and Isaac Alswager, Maximilian Gutierrez, great-granddaughter, Alice Alswager, her "favorite brothers" Eric and Paul (Michelle Thorpe) Dix, and her "best sister" Mary (Joe) Kolocek. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Gregory and Antoinette Dix, and her cherished Nana, Ann Wojtycski.
A proud alumna of Pulaski High School, Kathy dedicated many years as a caring cook for Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS), where she touched the lives of countless children and staff members with her loving nature.
Kathy's warm smile and generous spirit were the cornerstones of her life. She was the heart of every gathering and lived her life ensuring everyone around her was well-fed and happy. As we remember Kathy, we celebrate a life marked by an enduring legacy of love. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of life for Kathy Kaiser will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI, on Saturday, October 26, 2024. Visitation will take place from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, followed by the memorial service from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. In honor of Kathy’s love for sharing meals with her loved ones, please join us for a meal at the same location from 3:00 to 5:00 PM.
