Bulko Kathleen L. "Kathy" Nee Bauer-Chewning Born to eternal life after a courageous battle with cancer Monday, July 29, 2013. Beloved wife of Charlie. Loving mom of Kristin (Brian) Gardella, Michael (Rebecca) Chewning, Paulette (Jenny) and the late Paul Bulko. Grammy of Bailey, Kaitlynn, Meghan, Cameron, Christopher, Madeline, Caleb, Connor, Paul and Jessica. Dear sister of Diane (Jim) Stawski, Alan (Linda) Bauer, Scott (Debbie) Bauer and David (Linda) Bauer. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Visitation at the funeral home Friday, August 2, 5-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial at Prince of Peace Church, 1138 S. 25th St., on Saturday, August 3, 12 noon. With a brief viewing from 11:30 until the time of mass. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, 7301 W. Nash St. Monday, August 5, 10am. Please meet at the cemetery office. Kathleen was a breast cancer survivor and lost her battle with ovarian cancer, in lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to the American Cancer Society. Kathleen was a teacher for over 25 years, the last 16 years with Prince of Peace School known as Mrs. Chewning and Mrs. Bulko and 9 1/2 years at St Monica School in Whitefish Bay as Mrs. Bauer. Kathy loved antiquing, basket making, and most loved spending time with her grand kids and other family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Drs, nurses and staff at the Oncology center at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, all the staff at Seasons Hospice who helped with her care.
