Kathleen J. Domin

Kathleen J. Domin, age 81, of Franklin, Wisconsin, passed away on January 5, 2025. Born on September 4, 1943, in Milwaukee, WI, to Eric and Edna (nee Heipel) Rau, Kathy was a devoted wife, mother, grammy, and friend.

Kathy is survived by her children, Marcia (John) Wayer and Jeremy (Patti) Domin; her grandchildren, JJ and Caroline Wayer, Brittany (Ryan) Porritt, and Lindsay (Peter) Wreford-Brown, sister, Phyllis (Wayne) Spaeth and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bryan, as well as her parents, and her sister, Barbara Tillich.

Kathy graduated from West Allis Central High School in 1961 and maintained many friendships from high school until she passed. She helped to plan many high school reunions and had a monthly card club with her best friends, Rosie, Sharon, and Kathy.

Kathy fondly remembered her work life, especially working at Allen-Bradley before her children were born. Kathy enjoyed planning parties and hosting family and friends, cross-stitch, baking, travelling with Bryan and their friends, and she valued winters spent in Florida. 

A long-time member of Hales Corners Lutheran Church, Kathy was instrumental in starting the Hales Corners Lutheran School Booster Club to support sports at the school.

A celebration of Kathy’s life was held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to American Heart Association in Kathy's memory.
