Kelly, Kathleen A. "Kathy" (nee Kozminski) of Greendale, Found peace March 9, 2018 at the age of 71 years. Beloved wife of Richard Kelly. Loving mother of Marnie (Kevin) Schmidt, and Ryan (Evelyn) Kelly. Proud grandmother of Mason and Madeline Schmidt, Cherished daughter of Marian (and the late George) Kozminski. Dear sister of Carol Kozminski. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Kathy was born in Milwaukee, WI. and attended St Casmir's parish school and graduated from St Johns Cathedral High School. She attended MATC classes both for the workplace and for fun. Kathy worked in various jobs during her 25 year tenure at Milwaukee County. She enjoyed the outdoors and was a lifelong fan of the park system, especially the Boerner Botanical Gardens. . Kathy was a member of the Women's Golf League at New Berlin Hills. She enjoyed playing sheepshead at the Polish Center. She also enjoyed the programs and outings with Vagabond Ski & Social Club. Kathy and Rick actually met at a volleyball outing with the Vagabond Ski & Social Club. Memorial gathering Saturday, April 28, from 1:00PM - 5:00PM with a service at 5:00PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials to the American Cancer Society or stroke.org appreciated. The family would like to thank all the medical staff who cared for Kathy over her six months of hospital care. Special thanks goes out to Zilber Hospice for their care over the last week.
