Karl J. Schlueter

Passed away peacefully with his beloved wife, Marva (nee Behnke) of 53 years by his side. Loving father of John (Bethany) Schlueter and Eric Schlueter. Proud grandfather of Jack, Grace, Max, Ella, and Sarah. Dear brother-in-law of Dorothy Schlueter, Judy Behnke, and Carol Mattson. Godfather of David (Butch) Schlueter and Karen Milazzo. Cousin of Robert Goelz. Preceded in death by his mother Olga Graf, stepfather Frank Wederath, and brother David Schlueter. Further survived by other relatives and many friends. Karl was the founder and owner of Karl's Rental Center. He was a two-term board member of Wisconsin Lutheran College and also served on various church boards. Dear to his heart are the children and staff at St. Marcus Lutheran School where he served on the Capital Campaign Cabinet. Visitation will be held at SOUTHBROOK CHURCH (11010 W. Saint Martins Rd., Franklin) on Thursday, October 11 from 4-7PM. Additional visitation will be held at ST. MARCUS LUTHERAN CHURCH (2215 N. Palmer St., Milwaukee) on Friday, October 12 from 9:30-11:15AM. Funeral Service to follow at 11:30AM. Private family burial at Good Hope Cemetery. Memorials appreciated to Southbrook Church or to St. Marcus Lutheran School.
