Karen J. Schaefer

Schaefer, Karen J. Of South Milwaukee (Nee Sims). Born to Eternal Life June 7, 2014 at the age of 68 years. Beloved mother of Kelly and Kevin (Karen) Schaefer. Loving grams of Bailey and Tristan Schaefer. Further survived by her nephew Ryan and other relatives and friends. Karen was preceded in death by her sister Kathleen "Kitty" Beck. Karen was retired from Patrick Cudahy and then worked part time at Fransiscan Villa in South Milwaukee. During Karen's illness her former husband Randy and his wife Betty, assisted in getting Karen to and from her doctor appointments and treatments. A celebration of Karen's life will be held at Franciscan Gardens Chapel (1000 Williams Ave.,) So. Milwaukee on Tuesday June 17, 2014 at 3 PM with a visitation from 2:30 PM until time of service.
