Kaitlyn Ann McNamara, 32, found peace on Saturday, October 22, 2022. She leaves behind grieving parents Jerome and Barbara (nee Rizzo) McNamara, brothers Jon (Sara Schneider) and Michael (Michelle Maternowski), nieces Lyla, Wren, Oaklyn and Cora, and nephew Charlie. She is also survived by grandfather Jerome McNamara Sr.,DO., aunts and uncles Pamela and Donald Keating, Peter and Renee Rizzo and Patrick and Renee McNamara. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Gertrude McNamara and grandparents Peter and Edith Rizzo.
Katie graduated from Franklin High School and attended UW- Milwaukee. She was employed at Repacorp Inc., where she enjoyed her job and co-workers. She was a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts. Katie cherished her years as a catechist at St. Alphonsus Church. Her hobbies included arts and crafts, cooking, and frequenting farmers’ markets. She found joy in her role of proud auntie.
Katie will always be loved, remembered, and missed by her family and friends. The family would like to thank the staffs at Ascension Hospitals Franklin and St. Francis, and the Reiman Cancer Center.
Memorial Visitation will take place at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 6060 West Loomis Road, Greendale, on Friday, November 4, from 9:30 to 10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 AM.
