Machajewski, Juliet M. ''Julie'' Age 81, went to join her beloved late husband Raymond with our Lord in Heaven on Tuesday, June 17, 2008. She was the youngest of 7 children to the late Frank and Karoline Horak and grew up in Racine. Also preceded in death by her brothers Frank(Rose) and Bill(Camille)Horak, her sisters Lee(Al)Hauch, Elsie(George)Kaplan and Caroline ''June'' Horak. Loving and devoted mom of Anne(William)Wallis, June(Mike)Andringa, Mary Jo(Gary)Zaeske and Mark(Maureen)Machajewski. Beloved grandma of Matthew(Hayley)Andringa, Leslie(Andy)Brown and Daniel (Erin Kelly)Machajewski. Further loved by her sister Rose Horak and other relatives, nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Juliet married the love of her life and best friend Raymond in May 1951 and made their home in Milwaukee. She was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church for over 45 years, volunteering in many capacities, loved music, reading and was a member of the Red Hat Society. Like the lighthouses she collected, her shining smile was a beacon that brought joy to those around her. She lived her life by making a difference, showing kindness, a tender touch, easing a pain or sorrow and being a friend. A very special thank you from the family to all of the Odyssey Hospice Team and Meadowmere staff for giving of themselves, caring, compassion and graciousness. Visitation at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 5880 S. Howell Ave., on Friday, June 20 from 9-10:45 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Interment at St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Odyssey Healthcare in the spirit of Juliet's kindness and generosity.
